Commercial Data Specialist
Working hours: Full time 37 hours per week (flexible working arrangements including part time will be considered)

Salary: up to £50,683 per year (depending on experience)
Location: hybrid working with office location at Pity Me, Durham
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Asset Commercial team as a Commercial Data Specialist, capturing and reporting on NWL contractor performance, identifying performance trends and issues, and conducting market research on the broader industry supply chain to identify market issues, opportunities & constraints.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager (Performance), you will manage performance metrics database (KPI’s) and report on suppliers performance metrics to support decision-making processes.
You will collaborate with the commercial team to develop insights and recommendations for improving supply chain performance and provide data-backed recommendations aligned with NWL’s Asset strategy to improve commercial decision-making.
About you:
If you have experience in Commercial Analysis or similar, we want to hear from you. You will be able to manage and report on performance metrics and KPIs.
You will have experience conducting research and analysis to identify supply chain issues and market constraints and you will be familiar with contractor management and performance evaluation processes.
You will be able to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions and be proficient with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
You will understand designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouses and you will have experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
