COMPETITIVE SALARY
We are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner for our site in South Queensferry which is one of the most modern steel foundries in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for HR Functions, Employee and Labour Relations. You will be required to advise and guide Managers and Employees on company HR policies and procedures, OSH claims management.HR data management in accordance with the requirements of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 whilst supporting the HR Team and administering a range of HR processes.
THE ROLE:
As a HR Business Partner you will be required to:
Advise Leaders and employees on applicable HR Policies, procedures and practices.
Build effective business relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Coach and Support Managers handing employee and performance issues; Advise on f discipline, grievance and performance processes and act as HR attendee in such meetings.
Monitor statistics including for absence and turnover. Carry out analysis, and assist line managers in their management of related issues; Support line managers to make appropriate decisions and action plans based on trends in performance and absence data and employee feedback and Insights Survey.
Manage and coordinate any relevant HR and employee engagements projects and activities as required.
Participate as needed in the ongoing development of all employees, including competence and succession planning.
Carry out HR administration in connection with tasks being undertaken.
Implement, update and monitor HR procedures and policies to ensure the business is compliant, promoting best practice and challenging the status quo.
Continually look for improvement initiatives on HR systems, processes and practices.
Main point of contact for claims management such as employer liability claims, occupational hazard claims, injury, accident or any other relevant claim.
Responsible for maintaining HR data and personnel data in line with the data retention policy and guidelines by setting up a rigorous process.
Assist in ensuring Equal Opportunities are actively promoted within all aspects of employment.
Update and maintain an effective HR database system, including the production of reports, KPIs and other statistics as required from this and other sources.
Supporting with HR aspects of employee health issues including occupational health and surveillance.
Adopting a modern, cost effective approach to managing people across the business.
Regular travel to the Sheffield site.
Comply with and promote Company Health and Safety policies and take appropriate responsibility.
Ensure the health and safety of self and functional employees.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal HR Business Partner:
Relevant experience in an HR Leadership role at a Senior Level or Management position.
Excellent interpersonal skills used to work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve routine and complex HR issues.
Up to date working knowledge and experience of Employment Law and general legislation.
Experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
Chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (preferred).
Degree educated in HR or Business
Full clean driving licence
