HIGH ROPES / OUTDOOR ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR | £12.46 per hour In this role, you will meet and greet our guests at Action Challenge, and you will coach and supervise them in a range of exciting activities in a manner that allows them to have great fun whilst feeling safe and secure. Your engagement with our guests will enrich their holiday experience, encouraging them to return and tell their friends. You will be responsible for instructing sessions such as; high ropes, indoor and outdoor climbing, abseiling, tree trekking and Aerial Adventure. You will set up and maintain equipment ensuring all safety checks are carried out in accordance with company guidelines. Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence. Successful candidates must be able to complete the following training programme: Friday 15 th November 2024 – Induction Monday 18 th to Friday 22 nd November 2024 – Training Monday 25 th to Friday 29 th November 2024 – Training Monday 2 nd and Tuesday 3 rd December 2024 – Assessment HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 60 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Your working hours will fall between 8:00am and 7:15pm. You will be required to work 3 out of 4 weekends as well as mid-week shifts. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
