No experience necessary as full training will be provided
Wigston Academies Trust is seeking to recruit Exam Invigilators to strengthen our existing team in the running of all internal and public examinations.
Invigilation is a responsible role, covering all aspects of examinations before, during and after.
Candidates will need to be flexible, have effective communication skills, and be a confident, patient and reassuring presence to students in examination rooms. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Whilst the busiest time for our invigilators is during the main exam period in May and June, there are plenty of opportunities to work at other times of the year.
We only have one rule: That you care about our students. They come first, and we are united in our work to give them the best possible deal at school.
We value our staff and believe in them. We offer you training and support to develop, and a friendly and supportive team of colleagues to work with too.
Closing date for applications: 10am, Monday, 20th January 2025
Interview date: TBC
We reserve the right to interview at any point during the application process so early applications are encouraged.
Only applicants who meet our selection criteria will be invited to an interview.
We are committed to keeping children and young people safe from harm and abuse and to promoting their welfare, and we expect that everyone who comes to work for us will share the same commitment. Fulfilling this responsibility includes making sure that our recruitment process includes a range of measures to identify those who may be unsuitable to work with children and young people.
