Permanent Part-time Warehouse Manager
15 hours (across 2-3 days per week)
Flexible hours and some flexibility required early on in the role as may be up to 20 hours per week)
£16.00 per hour, plus holiday pay (equivalent to £31,200 pa full time)
Based on the Kent/Sussex border at their storage facility

We are looking for a self-starting, energetic individual to oversee the charities day-to-day operations and help prepare us for the next phase of growth.
About the Role
You will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations of the storage facility. Working closely with the Founder and Operations Manager you will ensure all equipment and clothing is kept under detailed inventory and organised in an efficient manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
You will work independently and as part of a team and will be required to operate with minimum levels of supervision. You will need to be self-starting and be able to anticipate potential opportunities and issues. Organisational skills will be key as the Warehouse Manager will be solely responsible for a wide range of equipment and clothing that will be received from and delivered to a number of different organisations.
Responsible for the management and upkeep of the warehouse unit.
Oversee kit drop-offs and collections.
Use existing software to keep an up-to-date inventory of all equipment stored.
Responsible for packing and sending out correct sets of equipment to beneficiaries and partner charities.
Manage key relationships with kit donors and manufacturers.
Assist in the logistics of equipment distribution.
Organization and outfitting of the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations for greater efficiency.
Manage collections/deliveries
Experience & Qualifications Required
The successful candidate should have warehouse experience, a capable and hands-on approach and must be personable, articulate, literate and, due to the nature of the work, physically fit.
