We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Pricing Manager to join our tenacious team. This is a fantastic role for someone who is commercially minded and loves to apply their problem-solving skills within the fast-paced Price Comparison Motor (PCW) market, working with the latest technologies.
A bit about the job:
Aviva Zero is our new environmentally conscious, mass-market PCW product. Reporting to the Aviva Zero Chief Underwriting Officer, you will apply your pricing and underwriting expertise to deliver great customer outcomes and drive further improvements to portfolio performance. You will be leading on pricing/underwriting change activity and play a key role in mentoring and guiding other colleagues, getting the best out of others and living our values day to day.
Key duties will be:
* Accountable for the end-to-end performance and effectiveness of Aviva’s pricing and underwriting for in the scope of their specific role.
* Delivering market-leading pricing and underwriting, supporting the plans and strategy of the Aviva Zero business within the scope of their role.
* Developing a market-leading team of pricing and underwriting experts, where personal ownership of outcomes is at the core of team culture.
* Following required governance and process that meets the requirement of appropriate regulation and legislation.
* Ensuring that customer and conduct outcomes are at the heart of pricing and underwriting decisions and strategy for Aviva Zero within the scope of their role.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Understanding of the individual UK motor market.
* First-class pricing capabilities.
* Strong business acumen and commercial focus.
* Ability to think both strategically and operationally.
* Strong financial and statistical knowledge.
