Head of Creative Arts
We are seeking an exceptional and visionary leader to join our team as the Head of Creative Arts. In this role, you will lead our thriving Art, Drama, and Music departments, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded and enriching creative education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Creative Arts departments
* Manage and develop the teaching teams in Art, Drama, and Music
* Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the three subjects
* Develop and implement engaging, innovative, and challenging curriculum plans
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Creative Arts departments
* Promote the Creative Arts within the school and wider community
* Manage the departmental budget and resources effectively
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Art
* Proven track record of successful leadership and management in a school setting
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the Creative Arts
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable Qualities:
* Experience leading a Creative Arts department or cross-curricular team
* Ability to inspire and motivate both Students and staff
* Innovative approach to curriculum design and delivery
* Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos of the school
Salary and Benefits: MPS/UPS with TLR 2b
This position offers a competitive salary on the Main/Upper Pay Scale, with a TLR 2b allowance. We also provide excellent opportunities for Continuous Professional Development, supporting our staff to grow and develop in their careers.
