The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead Wimbledon House with passion, vision, and compassion. As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care, creating a welcoming and safe environment, and driving the overall operational and financial success of the home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Wimbledon House, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative standards.
* Inspire, mentor, and support a diverse team of care professionals, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.
* Develop and implement strategies to deliver outstanding care tailored to individual resident needs.
* Oversee budgets and financial performance, ensuring sustainable operations.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, maintaining trust and open communication.
* Continuously monitor and improve quality standards to achieve and maintain an exceptional rating with regulatory bodies.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting.
* A deep understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in residential care.
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
* A compassionate and resident-centred approach to care delivery.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent).
