The Role: You will support the Group General Counsel with legal and corporate governance work and support across a broad remit including support work and query handling across corporate governance as well as prepare and handle basic legal documentation. Reporting directly to the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, this is a unique opportunity for someone either with a paralegal or assistant company secretary background to broaden their skillset in a fast-paced, growing business. This is a hybrid position where you will work from London office, as well as from your home address. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Prepare board meeting agendas, coordinate attendees, collate and publish materials, take minutes, and track actions. Assist the Group General Counsel in overseeing the company’s management incentive plan. Act as a key contact for corporate governance queries, including shareholding structure inquiries from auditors and financing partners. Maintain statutory records and filings for the company and its subsidiaries. Draft and review contracts, NDAs, policies, and other legal documents. Support legal due diligence processes as required. Handle queries around corporate matters such as relating to its shareholding structure, such as from auditors and financing parties. Liaise with external legal counsel, auditors and regulatory bodies as required. Liaise with board members and company EAs regarding board meetings and follow up matters. Here’s what we’re looking for: Experience in a legal or corporate governance function (paralegal, company secretarial, or similar). Background in financial services preferred, ideally within a high-growth or transformation environment. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to draft, review, and manage corporate legal documents with precision. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
