Job summary The Clinical Sister in the Elderly Ward is a senior nursing role responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to elderly patients. This position involves leading a team of nursing staff and healthcare staff, ensuring the implementation of best practices in geriatric care, compassionate care, enhancing patients' overall experience in the hospital setting. Ward 20A is a 24 bedded area which is based on 2nd floor of UHCW. We are a care of elderly ward within the medicine group. This role offers the chance to undertake several extended roles, and we offer excellent training and support for nursing staff to achieve competence in a variety of areas. Successful applicants will be motivated and keen to develop their nursing skills and knowledge of leadership and management. They will have the skills and competence to support their team, ability to make clinical decision take charge on shifts. In addition, you will expected to support the ward manager in the management of the team, patients' safety and ward performance.
