Key Responsibilities of the Cost Manager: Providing commercial support across the Capex programme. Assisting with feasibility estimates and providing commercial insights during the initial concept design phase. Supporting development appraisals for new store openings and refit programmes in the UK and EU. Producing global reports on monthly costs and cash flows. Maintain and enhance the commercial and contractual documentation suite. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and the Cost Management team to update the cost model as project requirements change. Managing relationships and coordinating with external Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects. Negotiating and presenting project costs and proposals effectively to internal stakeholders. Overseeing and controlling multi-million pound projects in a dynamic environment. Skills and Experience of the Cost Manager: Experience in a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor role (2 years). Experience with fit outs or within retail is preferred. Experience with high value projects. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
