Choose a career with the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialist The Lanes Group are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our growing network in our Washington Depot. The job: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the planning and organisation of the engineer response team activities, carrying out Health & Safety audits on site, ensuring your team have the correct equipment and information to complete all works safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously had extensive drainage experience or held a supervisory position and managed a team of field based engineers and are looking to progress your career. This is a varied role which will include both field and office based works including still being part of the operational team when required. Previous drainage / utilities experience and experience of liaising and leading a team preferred but not essential· A full driving licence is also required Ability to schedule work to ensure maximum productivity and optimum asset usage You will have responsibility for company vehicles and plant within the Depot, making sure they are calibrated and serviced correctly with the support of the operations manager. You will also ensure that the vehicles are kept in an appropriate condition to reflect the company’s values of H&S and purvey the company’s professional image.
