Functional area: Procurement
As Procurement Manager in our Offshore Procurement team, you will facilitate direct procurement activities for our operational offshore windfarms. You will mainly work on fleet contracts and other projects in preparation for and during the operating phase of our Offshore Wind Projects and optimize our supply chain measures throughout the entire project life cycle.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Procurement support for fleet contracts for our UK operational offshore wind farms
* Development, implementation, and management of purchasing strategies for fleet service and maintenance contracts
* Implementation of an active supplier relationship management with the fleet service providers
* Development and implementation of an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the operations team
* Manage key performance indicators and the performance of our fleet suppliers
* Develop and maintain appropriate procurement/project/contract records
* Provide general commercial support to the operations team
* Assist with the building of management information and reporting structures both project-specific and procurement general performance
* Understand and apply agreed contract terms and conditions
* Advise and support the operations team and procurement team on the appropriate procurement methods and strategies while identifying supply chain risks
Your profile:
* Relevant experience in the management and processing of fleet tenders, contract negotiation, and contract management
* Experience in the procurement in the wind farm industry is desirable but not essential
* Extensive experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks and developing strategies for risk prevention or control
* Ideally completed studies in engineering or economics; additional legal qualification advantageous
* Ability to oversee multiple contract packages and stakeholders and manage multidisciplinary teams
* Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures
* Advanced communication skills (spoken and written) in English
* Ability to be open to travel and visit other sites abroad to support our international projects
* Ideally completed or working towards MCIPS or equivalent demonstrable work experience
* Ability to work to tight deadlines with a complex workload
Location: Flexible within the UK as we have multiple UK sites/offices
