Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer in Water Services.
SoCode Engineer has partnered with the largest water company in England, supplying water and recycling services to seven million people in the East of England. They are gearing up for their most exciting period yet, known as AMP 8, which will see them deliver a larger programme of work than ever before.
As they move into this challenging period for the Water industry, they will implement the highest standards of safe solutions across all disciplines. To enhance the team, they are looking for several Senior Electrical Engineers to support the increase in work.
What will you be doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer?
As an Electrical Engineer within a diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you’ll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
2. Design and specify LV Assemblies, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings (i.e. MCC, LV Switchboards, and Control Panels).
3. Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams).
4. Liaise with others on technical issues, including the construction team, operations, suppliers, and utility companies.
5. Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design.
A Little Bit About Your Skills, Experience, And Behaviours:
Have demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a strong Electrical Engineering background and a keenness to work in a multi-disciplined team to solve complex problems.
