Our UK-based staff work in King Charles Street in London, Abercrombie House in East Kilbride and in Milton Keynes Your role with us We’re currently looking for a Facilities Manager to take responsibility for optimising the effectiveness of service delivery and the day-to-day operation of our Hanslope Park site, applying governance to service delivery, leading on hard services and line-managing responsibilities for soft services. Committed to ensuring the site meets our organisation’s policies and procedures, and the infrastructure remains operational at all times, it’ll be your task to ensure compliance with financial accountability, public sector expenditure, Health and Safety policies and operational obligations. We’ll also expect you to achieve continuous performance improvements and build positive relationships with our customers and service providers. You’ll have a wide range of additional responsibilities – these include working to ensure monthly reporting and forecasting is completed and the day-to-day services we provide meet the necessary requirements. We’ll also expect you to support delivery of a project portfolio to prioritise investment, monitor the quality of delivery with service providers against agreed KPIs, and maintain operational, financial and Health and Safety governance. Who we’re looking for To be a success in this role you’ll have a good understanding of budgetary allocation, spend and financial reporting including revenue (RDEL) vs capital (CDEL), and practical knowledge of statutory compliance requirements in relation to facilities management and UK legislation. It’s important that you have well developed experience of operating an estate and maintaining and working in a secure environment, and understand the principles of project and contract management for service delivery under a New Engineering Contract form. A highly motivated and collaborative team worker, you should also possess a strong understanding of UK Health and Safety regulatory requirements as they apply to the built environment and an operational estate.
