Anderson Knight is currently seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to join our client's team on a full-time permanent basis based in East Lothian. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong HR background and a passion for supporting employees and business objectives through efficient HR processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with line managers to manage the recruitment process end-to-end.
2. Oversee induction and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires, while managing probation and annual review processes.
3. Take ownership of the company induction programme and collaborate closely with HR and site teams to track, plan, and assess its effectiveness.
4. Track and report on key HR metrics, including absenteeism, performance, and probation status, to the HR function and Senior Leadership Team.
5. Support performance management processes, including absenteeism, probation, and addressing underperformance.
6. Provide general HR administrative support.
7. Assist with grievance and disciplinary investigations as needed.
8. Help manage the weekly timesheet submission process for payroll.
9. Assist with company-wide events and initiatives, including charity events and corporate social responsibility activities.
10. Contribute to and support the implementation of various internal HR projects.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in an HR or administrative role. You should possess excellent administration and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
