As the first point of contact for both internal and external applicants, you'll play a crucial role in delivering an efficient and candidate-friendly experience. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Recruitment Service Act as the first point of contact for candidates and managers Manage emails, phone calls, and enquiries, accurately recording messages Be responsible for hiring new starters, ensuring they are set up and paid on time Support interviews and verify ID checks (on-site two days per week) Maintain recruitment records using Oleeo and ESR Assist with pre-employment checks and follow up on outstanding documentation Process DBS checks and issue honorary contracts Handle post, visitor enquiries, and stationery orders for the department Ensure a timely, accurate, and customer-focused recruitment service Communicate professionally and with discretion, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
