Temporary Civil Enforcement Officer x2 - Parking Services

Pay Rate: up to £14.00 per hour PAYE DOE
37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 3 months
City: ST ALBANS
Basic DBS disclosure required
Provide frontline inspection and enforcement functions covering off street (parking) operations.
Key responsibilities:
Patrol streets and car parks.
Check parking meters and car park equipment.
Report defective signs and road markings.
Check parking tickets and issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs)
Advise the public on parking regulations.
Key requirements:
City and Guilds Level 2 Award for Parking Enforcement Officers (or equivalent)
Knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004
Considerable experience of working with the general public on situations of possible conflict or similar background
Good Communication skills, including a good standard of english reading and writing skills
IT skills, ability to operate handheld computer and printers
Ability to work several miles whilst working each day
Ability to write clear, concise reports
