Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester - Coventry
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm, alternate Saturdays
Annual Salary: £37,766 basic - OTE £48,000
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our client's dedicated team in Coventry on a permanent basis!
The mechanical dealership in Coventry is responsible for the servicing and repairs of manufacturer vehicles to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs.
2. Understand and follow advised customers repair standards.
3. Problem solve and diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues.
4. Conduct MOT tests, perform general mechanical repairs, and service a variety of vehicles.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI qualified to Level 2.
2. Class 4 MOT Licence.
3. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
4. Full category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
