Contracts Manager Reactive Maintenance
Link Contracting is a fast growing Projects & Maintenance company. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Contracts Manager to join our award-winning team. We are looking to recruit a proactive, hands-on Reactive maintenance Contracts Manager with a wide knowledge of building to work from our Wigan office. Someone able to manage reactive repairs & small planned work in the retail and commercial sectors.
Role overview:
* Responsibility for managing & overseeing planned & maintenance works from quotation to completion.
* To ensure jobs are delivered on time and within budget along with ensuring site safety and quality is maintained.
* Dealing with customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
* Meet clients, assess work, and produce quotations/estimates and deliver within budget. Also, to provide an advisory service and to develop effective relationships with client representatives.
* Be responsible for the management & recruitment of all labour resources, including managing sub-contractors and specialist trades, to ensure completion on time and within budget.
* Manage all health and safety on site to include toolbox talks, undertaking regular site safety inspections and post inspections. Reviewing RAMS to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Help market the services of the company to generate more work & income, assist in planning the future growth of the company alongside managers & directors.
* To help develop, monitor and manage programmes of work to ensure successful delivery of projects to timescales and to develop future programmes of work.
* Work closely with the Contract Support Team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system.
In addition, the following skills and qualifications are either required or desirable:
* Ideally trade background.
* Have a strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
* Quoting/estimating experience required.
* Experience of working in reactive maintenance.
* Solid background in building maintenance.
* Excellent communication skills and able to communicate across all levels.
* Ability to work within a pressurised environment, including multi-tasking, problem solving and working independently.
* IOSH – Desirable.
* Demonstrable experience of using a range of IT packages to communicate with all parties to contract. Fully conversant with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and a willingness to learn other systems.
* Reliable and punctual, ability to manage own time and workload.
* Dress code is smart, professional representation for client meetings.
* The role is office based with site visits approx. 65/35 split.
We are offering:
* Permanent, full time contract
* Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
* Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00am-17:00pm
* Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus 8 Bank Holidays, increases with service to a max of 25.
