Job Description
This manager role is pivotal within Viking Crew and is responsible for managing the dedicated cruise placement department. Ensuring the team is supported, mentored and working towards set goals and targets.
The manager is responsible for clients, both managed and ad-hoc, in providing recruitment services and to manage the strategic planning to maximise business opportunities for recruitment in cruise placement.
* The oversight, development and management of the cruise placement team
* Management of managed cruise placement
* Manage, develop and increase ad-hoc cruise placement
* Work alongside internal Viking Crewing and Marketing Team in ensuring managed clients are managed and served as per SLAs and KPIs
* Provide metrics and statistics for both internal and external needs
* Updating internal database and systems
* Overseeing and managing recruitment procedures and processes
* Overseeing company placement systems, client systems, and liaising with web support, where and as required
* Overseeing job advertisements on the company website and third-party websites
* Management of client placement conditions of business
* Development and management of Global Hiring Partners
* Management of candidate talent-approved pools
* Managing and updating company information on share points and smart sheets
* Undertake interviews on behalf of the client as required.
* Attend and oversee industry and recruitment events Viking Crew attends
* Establish good relations with candidates and clients, always acting with professionalism and integrity.
* Advertising, reviewing and shortlisting of CVs for internal recruitment team members
* Onboarding of new team members
* Mentoring and training members of the team
* Managing internal Apogee/HR system for the placement team
* Maintain good communication with all members of the team
* Conduct regular meetings with team members and global offices
* Conduct regular one-to-one appraisals with team members
* Prepare for and attend Monthly Management meetings (as required)
* Prepare regular reports and attend meetings as required by Directors
* Reach and exceed objectives and sales targets set by the Directors
* Always maintain utmost confidentiality and discretion
* Promote the best interests of both Viking Maritime Group and the Client
* Undertake other duties as may be required or as directed
Desired Experience and skills
* Knowledge of the cruise industry
* Knowledge of recruitment processes
* Managing or supervising a team
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, CRMs and ATS systems
* Able to travel both UK and overseas
* Experience in undertaking projects
* Keen desire to drive business and projects forward
