A leading regional firm with a Chambers-rated agricultural property team is now looking to appoint an ambitious Solicitor or Associate - preferably 1 PQE to 4 PQE, to join their expanding team based in the Thames Valley. You will advise and assist on a wide range of matters connected with rural land including sales and acquisitions of agricultural land and buildings, drafting overage provisions, farm-related tenancy issues including succession rights and surrenders, wayleaves and easements, single farm/basic payment subsidy transfers, property development/investment work and more. The role offers a significant level of variety and interest. You will work across a range of work-types, which will include more traditional agricultural property work along with assisting clients with all manner of diversification projects. Clients will span many areas to attract your interest and you will advise and assist on a wide range of matters connected with rural land including sales and acquisitions of agricultural land and buildings, drafting overage provisions, farm-related tenancy issues including succession rights and surrenders, way-leaves and easements, property development/investment work, renewable energy projects and more. You may, from time to time, also get involved in supporting the wider commercial property team. You will receive good supervision and training, with the opportunity in time to build a name for yourself in a rewarding and specialist discipline. The team will encourage you to get involved in business development opportunities as part of the team and firm generally.
