Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our vibrant team. Duties:
1. Assist in the preparation of food items while adhering to food safety standards.
2. Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, kitchens, and storage spaces.
4. Support catering events by setting up and breaking down service areas as needed.
5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
6. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
7. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
8. Assist with bartending duties as required, ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
Experience:
1. Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
3. Experience in catering or event services would be advantageous.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial.
5. A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service is essential.
