Role Purpose
To assist the Team Leader/Project Manager in completing tasks related to specific contracts in a timely and organised manner. To ensure the delivery and loading of equipment, adhering to company standard and H & S procedures
Role Summary
• To assist the Plant/contract in completing jobs on time and informing them of progress made.
• To drive and operate vehicles, plant and equipment to the necessary company standard under the supervision of the Supervisor/Project Manager.
• Responsibility for vehicles, plant and equipment assigned to the project.
• Responsibility for the safe loading and unloading of equipment to be delivered.
• To report any damage to vehicle or bridge strikes to Management, incurred day to day using the correct company procedure.
• Responsibility for ensuring the daily log book or tachograph discs are inserted daily and that completed discs are returned to the Plant for record keeping.
• Comply with the requirements of the Companies Safety and Zero Tolerance Policies.
• Inform Team Leader/Management of any Health & Safety breeches or concerns and co-operate with the company representatives in all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Welfare
• Ensure the correct PPE is worn as a minimum, Long Sleeve Hi-Vis Jacket, gloves, hard hat and Safety Boots or as individual sites dictate.
• To report location and times worked to Line manager for timesheets and payroll purposes.
• Complete ad hoc duties in other departments to cover holidays and sickness when required.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate for the role.
