Summary
* GI Pro are recruiting for a Plant Supervisor for our Electrical and Electronics waste recycling client based in Newbury
* Working a day shift Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm (47.5 hours per week)
* Occasional overtime
* Offering a pay rate of up to £33,000 (depending on your experience)

Main Duties
* To manage up to 8 staff under your supervision, ensuring that all work is carried out
* To ensure that the lines run in a manner that is both safe and efficient.
* To monitor staffing levels and inform the Yard Manager of any issues.
* To inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance checks.
* To report any breakdowns or issues with the plant to the Maintenance Engineer & Yard Manager immediately for safe resolution.
* To ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, including updating records of inventory and activity logs
* Unload/load materials from incoming/outgoing vehicles.
* To ensure the absolute safety of yourself and all other members of staff during all aspects of your work.
* To put forward ideas and suggestions to improve the running of lines and the warehouse.
* To keep the building and all stock safe and secure.
* Undertake manual yard duties as requested.
* Comply with company policies and legal guidelines to maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
Attributes and Experience
* A good standard of English, both oral and written, is required.
* High level organisational skills
* Holder of a Forklift licence
* Responsible individual with experience supervising a Yard
* Ability to ensure a safe and clean working environment
