Job Title: Project Manager
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Project Manager to join the team located in London.
Key Tasks:
1. Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering contractual commitments on secured projects.
2. Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of projects are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
3. Deliver projects to completion on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties.
4. Identify, reduce, and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project.
5. Ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
6. Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process are effectively implemented across both company and subcontractors' activities.
7. Build strong relationships with sub-contractors and preferred suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet our quality expectations can be delivered to our clients whilst managing the risk.
8. Work with other Operational managers to ensure the collaborative development of the projects.
9. Develop project financial plans for revenue and profit delivery.
10. Ensure positive cash flow through the upfront agreement of a relevant payment schedule and the submission of timely invoices/applications for payment.
11. Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budget requirements with the target to maximize profit through cost reductions and better buying of sub-contractor services.
12. Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy, and contractual commitments are met.
13. Promote and maintain the core values of CBRE.
14. Support the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations, and consultation meetings.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
1. Project Management, Building Services or equivalent qualifications.
2. Proven track record of Project Management experience in the Office Fit out.
3. Excellent team player.
4. Client-facing skills.
5. Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, IT, security, and plumbing installations.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
7. Ability to demonstrate logical processes, with good analytical skills and judgment, along with initiative.
8. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
9. Good communication skills at all levels.
10. Work well under pressure.
