The Woodbridge Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) has an exciting opportunity available to work as a Band 5 Physiotherapist in the community. This position will be working alongside our established team of therapists and being offered on a permanent basis at 36.75 hrs per week.
Due to this post being a community position it is essential for the successful candidate to be able to drive from day one of employment.
The Woodbridge Integrated Neighbourhood team is based in Melton and provides multidisciplinary care to the surrounding locality. The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, District & Community Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, Generic Workers, and Social Workers.
The team is busy, dynamic, and proud of their holistic care approach. You will be actively supported by regular supervision and individual annual appraisal. You will be expected to work autonomously and on behalf of the patients served by the local area. You will have access to skills development training relevant to the post. You will be required to work shifts covering the operational hours of 08:00 to 18:00 over 7 days.
Main duties of the job
Your duties will be to provide holistic therapeutic assessments of patient goals to implement management plans and strategies. This role will also include working with the wider Integrated and multidisciplinary team, including MDT meetings. We offer a variety of training to upskill and maintain your clinical skills.

Qualifications
* HPC Registered Physiotherapist
* BSc/MSc (Pre Reg) Physiotherapy
* Associated prior learning qualification
* Membership of professional body / specialist Interest Group
Experience
* Respiratory care
* Musculoskeletal/orthopaedics
* Elderly Rehabilitation and discharge processes
* Experience of multi-disciplinary working
* Community experience.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of presenting diagnoses and their management
* Falls re-education
* Patient pathways in primary and secondary care
Skills
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Willingness to work across both Ipswich and Colchester sites.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum pro rata
