We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team in King's Lynn. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. Your care, empathy, and professionalism will be essential in ensuring the well-being and development of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote Independence: Assist service users in developing life skills and promoting their independence.
2. Engage in Activities: Facilitate and participate in a variety of daily activities such as arts and crafts, music sessions, and discussions on topics relevant to the service users.
3. Social Outings: Occasionally accompany service users on shopping trips, outings, and lunches, ensuring they have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
4. Emotional Support: Provide a supportive and nurturing environment, building strong relationships with service users and understanding their unique needs.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to plan and deliver meaningful and enjoyable activities.

At present the hours are: Monday to Friday 08.30-16.00, but you will need to be flexible as these may change due to demand.
You must have a minimum of 3 months full-time or 6 months part-time healthcare experience to be considered for this role.
