Associate Architect Job in Manchester, Greater Manchester
An in Manchester is now available, with an AJ100 practice with 4 offices across the Northeast and West. You will be a key player in the performance and development of this office, delivering a portfolio of residential projects across the Northwest. Offering up to £50,000, Hybrid/Flexible working and 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays.
My client has now opened their newest office in Manchester, focusing on developer-led residential projects, they have been established for 40 years so have a strong foundation to support this recent growth. During this time they have built a credible reputation through the projects they have delivered across the UK.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead a portfolio of projects, providing design and technical leadership as well as excellent client care
2. Coach and mentor team members to develop design and technical excellence
3. Conduct Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and implement appropriate actions and learning
4. Contribute to the strategic planning of the practice by developing and executing business goals
5. Raise the profile of the business externally and generate profitable leads through effective networking
6. Maintain high standards of design, technical, and project management
7. Manage resources to ensure projects meet agreed fees and customer demands
8. Establish and maintain good commercial relationships with clients and contractors
9. Collaborate with colleagues to meet customer expectations and business performance goals.
Required Skills & Experience
10. 7+ years post-qualification UK experience
11. Candidate must hold ARB registration
12. Team management experience with a passion for developing others.
13. Proven track record of developing and maintaining successful client relationships.
14. Proven track record of delivering complex or outstanding architectural projects.
15. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
