European Regional Controller

Key Responsibilities
* Establish, maintain, and enforce business controls, policies, and procedures.
* Oversee accounting processes and provide financial expertise for the European region.
* Coordinate external and internal audits.
* Conduct training and business control and financial reviews.
* Make recommendations for improvement and ensure timely implementation.
* Manage Shared Service Center performance and any relocation efforts.
* Collaborate with business unit controllers and HQ controllers.
* Work with the Global Controller to evaluate and harmonize internal procedures and controls.
* Communicate department and global objectives.
* Monitor and report legal entity performance.
* Ensure the accuracy of business transactions, financial results, and projections.
* Provide sound recommendations related to business transactions and decisions.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
* 7-10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
* CA/CPA required.
* At least 3 years of management experience with a strong track record of developing and advancing staff across Europe.
* Demonstrated proficiency in information technology, including Microsoft Excel, enterprise systems, and business intelligence applications.
* SAP and BPC/BW experience strongly preferred.
* Expertise in accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Broad understanding of the shared service center model.
