Job Title: IT Vendor Management Lead
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Full Time, Job Share option available
Salary Range: £50,000 DOE
Location: Eastleigh office twice a week
IT Vendor Management Lead: You will be responsible for delivering business outcomes through our key strategic vendor relationships, ensuring these relationships deliver on value and customer outcomes in line with our objectives. This will be achieved by monitoring the contractual performance of our vendors, ensuring compliance with Service Levels, maintaining assurance reviews, supporting security evaluations, and guiding the designated Relationship Managers in undertaking performance reviews.
Main Responsibilities as an IT Vendor Management Lead:
* Vendor Performance Management:
o Oversee the performance of SaaS vendors, ensuring they meet contractual agreements and deliver value for Ageas.
o Monitor and report on vendor performance, including service levels and contractual obligations.
* Vendor Management:
o Understand and maintain assurance models for IT vendors, supporting Information Security, Compliance, and Data Governance.
o Ensure vendors comply with assurance and security elements.
* Commercial Negotiations:
o Negotiate commercial terms for strategic IT contracts to achieve beneficial outcomes for Ageas.
o Provide subject matter expertise during the generation of Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work.
* Risk and Innovation Management:
o Identify and report risks associated with existing or potential SaaS vendors.
o Maintain awareness of innovations in the IT vendor market and translate these into strategic outcomes for Ageas.
* Relationship Building and Reporting:
o Build and maintain effective strategic relationships with IT vendors.
o Provide periodic reporting on vendor performance and improvement plans, ensuring sustainable business value.
Skills and experience you need as an IT Vendor Management Lead:
* Proven experience dealing with IT contracts with complex provisions and clauses, with a good understanding of how to discuss and negotiate contract financial terms either as a lead or as part of a negotiation team.
* Proven ability to negotiate and deal with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
* Ability to test and challenge business assumptions.
* Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills; able to build rapport and maintain a network of contacts.
* Demonstrable experience of preparing service metrics with the ability to analyse and interpret data/metrics.
* Organised with good project management skills.
