Based in the South of England, our clients company is a specialist contractor providing you with our in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise on all facade systems including rainscreen cladding, steel framing systems, external wall insulation, architectural metal work, brick slip systems and also specialising in remedial works.
They are looking for an experienced Facade Site Manager to join their team in Ower, Hampshire.
The Facade Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of facade systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves coordinating site activities, liaising with subcontractors, managing materials, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, health & safety regulations, and programme schedules including planning.
Please note- Candidates must be willing to travel to Southampton, Reading, or London, depending on the location of the project.
Are you the right person for the job?
Proven experience as a Site Manager, within facade or cladding projects
Strong knowledge of facade installation methods, materials, and detailing
CSCS Black/Gold Card and SMSTS certification
Experience in managing subcontractors and labour on-site
Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
IT proficiency, including site management software (RAKEN, Dropbox, etc.)
What will your role look like?
Oversee facade installation, manage subcontractors, ensure site logistics run smoothly, and attend coordination meetings
Ensure efficient material delivery and site organization to support the installation process
Conduct site inductions and ensure all personnel are trained and compliant (e.g., PPE, CSCS Card checks)
Produce and manage Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Conduct regular safety inspections, including PPE, equipment checks (lifting, fall arrest, etc.), and first aid kit checks
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations (COSHH, Manual Handling, HAV, PUWER)
Report accidents, incidents, and near-misses as required
Track project progress against schedules and submit weekly reports, ensuring adherence to the project timeline
Complete daily site diaries and maintain proper documentation, including subcontractor and logistics records
Manage labour allocation, subcontractor coordination, and day-to-day site operations
Liaise with the design team, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution
Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure quality processes are followed
Conduct material inspections, check delivery notes, and manage snagging or non-conformance reports (NCRs)
Oversee the handover process and ensure all required documentation is delivered to the client
Monitor and address any quality issues throughout the project lifecycle
Manage and update project documentation in shared storage (Dropbox, RAKEN), ensuring all files are current and accurate
Ensure compliance with all necessary admin duties, including tracking consumables, ordering materials, and maintaining site documentation
