The Commercial Strategic Projects Team Lead ICO plays a critical role in developing and driving the execution of regional strategic initiatives and providing operational leadership to the ICO President and the broader marketing organisation. Reporting to the President ICO, this role is critical to the leadership of the ICO organisation and drives day to day delivery against priorities and the strategic roadmap for the ICO. As a member of the ICO Leadership team, this is a highly visible role and requires excellent networking and stakeholder management across the enterprise. In addition to supporting the President ICO, this individual leads a team of three Commercial Directors and works in close partnership with stakeholders across ICO, CMO, and cross functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of strategic priorities and operational excellence for our business. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic initiatives: Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives with cross-portfolio and cross-market scope to support our vision for growth. Serve as a strategic thought partner to the ICO President and ICO leaders, helping identify, prioritize, and shape key initiatives across the region to enable our growth commitments. Partner with internal stakeholders (ICO, CMO, Country) to ensure aligned and timely delivery of initiatives. Operational support: Support ICO President with operational delivery of goals, measurement and metrics and progress for key priorities. Coordinate cross functional teams as needed and identify resource requirements. In partnership with Finance and Int EVP office lead the annual business planning cycle, support to quarterly earnings reporting and ad hoc ELT requirements. Act as a key point of contact for ICO leaders to identify operational challenges and support solution development and execution. Provide data-driven insights and input to regional operations as needed to drive effective and efficient use of resources. Lead the coordination and facilitation of ICO leadership team to develop strategic plans, operational activities and meetings including agenda setting, metric tracking, and progress updates. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Int EVP office, CMO, Finance, PX, Medical, Digital, etc.) to implement projects and enhance business processes. Support the ICO President and ICO LT in issue/risk resolution. Leadership: Leadership of a team of three Commercial Directors, overseeing their strategic and operational contributions to the business and ensuring delivery against goals. Provide coaching and development to team for career growth. Support to develop outstanding culture across ICO and demonstration of values. Represent ICO in key initiatives and provide input and feedback on behalf of the team. Building Organizational Capability: Set a strong example of leadership excellence, fostering trust and alignment across the region. Create a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Operate in line with Pfizer policies and SOPs to support compliant behavior. Partner with Compliance to build risk register and mitigation plans for ICO. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required. Extensive commercial/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally across multiple countries. Strong understanding of regional and global healthcare systems and dynamics. Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact projects and multiple priorities. Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success in building senior-level relationships and influencing across functions and country cultures. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership capability, with a track record of leading diverse and cross-functional teams. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Flexibility to travel across the International region as required Location – UK (Walton Oaks office) or European office.
