Job Description
The Global HR Systems & Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for managing and continually improving Mundipharma’s global HR information system, reporting, and analytics. They engage with Business HR, HR CoEs, and business users, to ensure our HR technology and reporting is fit for purpose, delivering business value, and enabling our strategic objectives.
During 2022 and 2023 we are implementing Workday HCM across the globe and will continue to evolve the platform to deliver a best-in-class HR system for Mundipharma.
The HRIS Workday Specialist role is pivotal in evolving Workday and continuing to improve functionality by acting as a business analyst, system administrator, and Workday expert. Working with stakeholders to achieve our objective to have an HR system that focuses on a brilliant employee experience, streamlined processes, and enabling strategic decision-making for our management teams.
Responsibilities
1. Gather requirements from users, assessing the viability of changes, impact on interconnected systems, and identifying recommendations.
2. Articulate business requirements into technical/workday terminology for the Workday technical developer team.
3. Support the system development lifecycle, from Requirements, Design, Test, Deploy, and Support.
4. Ensure the operational effectiveness of the corporate HRIS (Workday) by reviewing and analyzing support requests, reporting requirements, and coordination of key system processes and procedures to support global HR operations.
5. Provide subject matter expertise, analysis, and recommendations for global system changes against new requirements and functionality enhancement or changes.
6. Perform project management and/or consultancy role on global technical implementations, designing and negotiating timelines, assessing risks and impacts, and running projects to deliver against agreed scope.
7. Work with outsourced Workday consultancy services on global operational and project activities, providing guidance, risk assessment, and recommendations to the Director.
8. Support the analysis and delivery of the Bi-annual Workday system updates.
9. Identify opportunities to optimize and improve the HR systems to drive automation, user adoption, and strategic planning.
10. Contribute to automating and improving the quality of HR analytics and people metrics by gathering requirements, writing, and testing reports in Workday.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
1. Experience in HRIS/HR system support roles.
2. Experience with Workday HCM modules, including HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, or Talent.
3. An analytical thinker, with a passion for using technology to drive automation, data collection, and process improvements.
4. Proven experience in delivering end-to-end system changes, from requirements gathering, solution design, testing, to deployment and support.
5. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with both technical developers and non-technical business teams.
6. High attention to detail and demonstrated interest in data accuracy.
7. A self-starter, able to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a virtual team.
8. Proactive, with a high focus on customer service, to deliver an excellent service to our colleagues.
9. Numerical and data literate, comfortable carrying out data analysis as required.
10. Curious, inquisitive, and continually looking to improve yourself through continued personal development.
Desirable Requirements
1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical domain, such as Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Business Analytics, or equivalent fields.
2. Certified in Workday modules such as Analytics, HCM, Absence, Recruitment, or Compensation.
3. Experience in Workday Security Administration.
4. Experience in using service management tools, such as Service Now or JIRA to manage service request tickets.
5. Experience in a Human Resources context, as an HR generalist or equivalent.
6. Experience in a consultancy environment, delivering system implementation projects or technology change.
Additional Information
Given the global nature of the team, this role can be based in Europe, Canada, or the UK.
With our commitment to developing a Centre of Expertise in HR systems and data analytics, the successful candidates will go through various Workday certification training, along with access to our wide range of in-house training and development courses.
