Trainee Import Co-Ordinator

Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Customer Service Manager to provide excellent customer service to customers and overseas partners.
* Process import jobs from booking to delivery, including costing and invoicing, and completing all HMRC Customs Clearance requirements for clients.
* Work closely with the Commercial Team on the development of all Ocean freight services.
* Load all jobs onto the system by creating files.
* Track containers.
* Contact clients by phone and email.
* Maintain effective communication and relationships with overseas partners.
* Answer calls and perform general administration duties.
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the highest possible operational performance and customer service.
* Promote company Corporate Culture.
Minimum Requirements:
* Professional telephone manner.
* IT literate.
* Able to prioritise workloads and be well organised.
* At least 3 months of experience in an office environment.
* Passionate about building a career.
* Pro-active attitude.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Able to work and meet deadlines.
* Possess team player qualities.
* Able to plan ahead.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9-5.30pm office based
Salary: DOE – £20,000 – £22,500
