Our client, a leading specialist engineering company, is looking for a Sales Engineer as part of their continued expansion. The key will be to find an individual who has the combination of engineering skills and ability to convert enquiries coming into the business as a subject matter expert. The core duties will include:
1. Travelling to customer sites, conducting customer visits and acting as primary point of contact for a customer base
2. Conducting technical survey and design work
3. Preparing quotes and managing the customer sign-up process
4. Project management of the delivery of the engineering work
Candidates will have a background that includes:
1. A strong engineering skillset in (ideally mechanical) engineering or similar, to at least HNC level
2. Ability to design customer solutions and estimate relevant costs
3. A strong customer focus
4. Ability to manage projects and ensure the timely delivery of solutions
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of engineering solutions related to air conditioning, HVAC, extraction systems, filtration systems, industrial ventilation, or similar bespoke engineering solution provision. Send your CV in the first instance for a confidential chat.
