Position: Site Manager
Location: Coventry, UK
Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 per annum
Bonus: 10% Guaranteed
Car Allowance: GBP6,000 per annum
Holiday: 25 days per annum
About the Role:
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of a GBP25 million school project in Coventry. Our client, a highly respected independently owned main contractor, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all on-site activities to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
5. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
6. Lead and motivate on-site personnel to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Site Manager on projects of a similar scale and complexity, preferably within the education sector.
2. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
6. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
