Key Responsibilities:
This is a seasonal role to assist with a particularly busy period. This role will be for a fixed term period of three months only. There is the possibility that the role may become permanant after this time but this is not guarnetend.
1. Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion
2. Providing a friendly, welcome and unique guest experience
3. Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge
4. Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable
5. Keep the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard
6. Operate challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol
7. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
8. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
9. Comply with all food and beverage regulations
10. All wastage to be recorded on the spot and reported to supervisor
11. Pouring standards to be adhered to always and regular pour tests completed
12. Always maintain a clean and tidy bar top and back bar
13. Take responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicate any issues to supervisors/managers
Key Skills & Experience:
14. In depth understanding of all products and how to prepare them
15. Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25
16. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
17. Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean
18. Punctual and reliable
19. Outstanding customer service skills
20. Ability to work well within the team to achieve brand and sales objectives
21. Attention to detail
22. Ability to follow instruction efficiently and quickly
23. Adhere to Boxpark’s uniform policy and basic hygiene standard
