Personal Development and Wellbeing Coach Hours: 37 hours per week, TTO 38-weeks Salary: CC BS Scale 6 (£26,850 - £28,491 FTE / £22,730 - £24,120 TTO 38-weeks) Coventry College is seeking to appoint a Personal Development & Wellbeing Coach. The role is to offer a range of holistic support for learners and to act as mentor to students who find it difficult to sustain regular attendance and fall below the agreed College attendance levels. You will enable and support learners to overcome barriers to progress and succeed.
As a Personal Development & Wellbeing Coach you should have: • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths • Level 3 qualification or equivalent • Experience of working with people within an educational organization or youth work environment You should also be able to demonstrate: • Ability to monitor student performance achievement and attendance and to take appropriate action to improve the chances of success • An in-depth knowledge of the full range of opportunities and progression routes within Further and Higher Education • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the statutory guidance around safeguarding and the Prevent Duty and the ability to translate this into practice As a Personal Development & Wellbeing Coach you will benefit from: • Free on-site parking • A good pension scheme • Discounted hair/barbering/beauty treatments at our on-site Salon • On-site refectory • Annual staff recognition awards • Employee Assistance Programme • Generous Employee Benefits discount scheme • Free will writing service
