We have an exciting opportunity to join the Pilgrims Europe Product & Innovation Team with a vacancy we now have for an “NPD Projects & Systems Manager” that will sit within the NPD Governance & Systems Team. Reporting into the Head of NPD Governance & working alongside an additional NPD Projects & P74 Systems Manager this is a unique and exciting role that will offer the opportunity to help shape and drive our roadmap for delivering alignment, consistency & one way of working for the P&I team as well as the wider business. Whilst this role sits within the governance team, the role will be required to interact with the wider P&I team as well as multiple stakeholders outside of the P&I function on a daily basis, therefore giving a fantastic opportunity for growth & breadth within role & the chance to be part of challenging what & how we do things to drive positive change Key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to): Key player in the NPD Governance team to deliver a “one way of working approach” for Pilgrims Europe through a robust Stage & Gate process. This will require collaboration & influencing skills across multiple stakeholders on a daily basis. Management & ownership of P74, supporting the smooth running of software across all sites & identifying opportunities for consistency & alignment. Be the point of contact for P74 & build relationships to support a collaborative way of working to manage & implement system changes we require as well as BAU maintenance Ownership of multiple data sources to facilitate monthly reporting for the functional KPI reporting metrics & financial performance – feeding into 1 monthly dashboard for Exec reporting Project management & headline reporting of all new product launches, providing regular updates to P&I leadership team. Ownership of a quarterly communication tool for all new launch's across the P&I Teams (Launch Pad) Tracking and facilitation of industry product award submissions across the group function, feeding into internal communications team. Owning all documents relating to ways of working, ensuring all versions are controlled and issued effectively across total function. Ensure that systems & ways of working adhere to relevant legislation i.e. health, allergens, salt targets and meets customer brand standards as required. Ensuring compliance across our ways of working are aligned to Sustainability targets, responsible sourcing policies & code of practice. Support to align ways of working across private label & brand, ensuring brand standards are adhered to. Working closely with central procurement, support on leading out cost out initiatives across group, reporting on projects & savings. Support proactive management of SKU & recipe rationalisation, helping to identify and track CI & cost saving initiatives. This role could be suitable for someone with a food manufacturing/development background that have an interest and a degree of knowledge for the development process & what is involved through each of the stages from concept through to launch with a passion for driving consistency & alignment across multiple sites and multiple categories.
