Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Regulatory Specialist on behalf of one of our clients in the Merseyside area. This role is initially going to be based on a 12 month fixed term contract with a potential to go permanent dependent on performance.
To be considered for the role of Regulatory Specialist you must have previous experience in a role working to CLP, food contact, BPD and REACh regulations.
As a Regulatory Specialist you will be responsible for providing regulatory support ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are fulfilled and maintained to support new & existing technologies.
Role requirements
1. Degree educated in Chemistry, Toxicology, Materials Science or a similar field.
2. Previous working experience with food contact legislation, CLP, BPD (Biocidal Products Directive) and REACh.
3. Previous experience in compiling dossiers for submissions to either EFS or FDA.
4. Good understanding of analytical chemistry techniques is also advantageous.
5. Experience in using Materials Safety Data Sheets too.
Role responsibilities
1. Assisting in addressing legislative developments and supporting the regulatory manager as and when required.
2. Interpreting and reviewing analytical data and toxicological data with regard to suitability for use of chemicals in food contact applications.
3. Managing data and supporting regulatory coordinator with the generation of MSDS.
4. Liaise with customers on a daily basis and produce any documentation as required.
