Role: Ofsted Registered Manager (Children)
Location: Dunstable
Position: Full Time
Salary: 40,000- 45,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the development and operation of children's residential homes.
* Provide positive leadership, ensuring policies and procedures align with Ofsted regulations and current legislation.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, creating a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
* Oversee the recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, and training of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
* Develop and maintain care plans that meet the individual needs of children, including their cultural, emotional, medical, and dietary requirements.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, delivering outstanding inspections and maintaining the highest level of care.
* Manage health and safety standards across all homes, promoting a safe environment for both staff and children.
* Support young people in achieving their full potential, helping them develop life skills and resilience.
* Promote effective communication across the team, ensuring clear documentation, logbooks, and regular team meetings.
Key Requirements (Social Care)
* Enhanced DBS check (required).
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Registered Manager experience with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to child protection.
* Full driving license.
