This public-sector organisation is currently looking to recruit a RICS Chartered Estate Surveyor to join their Strategic Asset Management team to help manage the organisation’smercial Property Portfolio. The contract is on an ongoing 6-month rolling basis, with no fixed end date. The organisation operates a hybrid working policy, 2 days in the office, thereby offering a very flexible approach to work with emphasis on obtaining an excellent work-life balance. The main offices are close to the local transportation hubs, making this a very accessible location if you prefer the option of working in the office.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, you will primarily be dealing with:
To support the Head of Asset Management -mercial, in ensuring that the estate management of the Council's land and property portfolio is properly undertaken in line with RICS best practice, codes and guidelines.
To identify, report and deliver on potential opportunities within the Council's portfolio to drive growth and reduce risk through effective Estate Management.
To optimise both the financial and socio-economic return to the Council through continuous improvement of management of Lease Events.
To operate in the corporate landlord capacity for internal stakeholders in accordance with RICS best practice and guidelines
To provide advice on property matters to the Council in accordance with RICS best practice and guidelines
What you'll need to succeed
MRICS Chartered status is essential.
Experience withmercial properties.
Able to work independently or as part of a wider team.
