Summary
The successful applicant will work within the Communications and Media team, to develop and create written and audio-visual content that can be used across a variety of platforms and media. We know that we are only as good as the people that make us, but we’re short of one person, specific to this role - could it be you?
Wage
£15,847 a year
New starters under 21 years old will receive £15,847 per annum. After 12 months service, this increases to £19,429 per annum. Entrants aged over 21 years old will receive the Foundation Living Wage - £24,310

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
* Plan and develop creative content (written, visual and audio), that can be used across a variety of media
* Review and advise on social media and digital platform use and best-practice
* Liaise with internal colleagues and provide communications and media support
* Provide a professional service for our NKDC colleagues, by phone, in person or via electronic communication
* Network with NKDC colleagues, partners and other apprentices
* Preparation and presentation of a corporate project to our Senior Management Team

* Prepare a mood board or other visual aid for the content to be created.
* Present ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed.
* Storyboard and outline script their ideas for content to be developed.
* Interpret data, consider its integrity and use it to inform content.
* Develop accessible written content for different platforms and devices.
* Apply best practice and inclusive language when creating content.
* Write and edit copy or scripts for use on different channels and platforms.
* Create or capture visuals and audio using standard packages and equipment.
* Source, obtain and prepare media assets for use; using industry standard packages to adapt and edit content.
* Use industry standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely enabling efficient search and retrieval.
* Identify and recommend the platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts.
* Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances.
* Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement.
* Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data.

Your training plan
Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
Training delivery is carried out remotely, through Cambridge Marketing College, and consists of:
* Minimum of 6 hours off-the-job training per week
* Blended learning, with online study materials, a monthly one-to-one online tutorial and topic specific webinars
