Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, North Benfleet Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting Create individualised learning plans to support the academic development of students Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with SEN coordinators and other educators to ensure a holistic approach to student support Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role Demonstrated success in supporting students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Training in specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, with flexibility required based on student needs Work primarily in an outreach setting, travelling to various locations within the East of England Collaborative work with SEN coordinators and other educators All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
