The Occupational Health department at East Sussex Healthcare is an in-house service providing care to the organisations employees.
We are a SEQOHS accredited service, and are proud of providing safe, effective and quality care to those using our service.
We are a modern and dynamic OH service, which is quick to respond to the ever changing demands of the NHS locally and the NHS workforce including items on the national agenda such as 'Growing OH'.
The service continually evolves and improves, always having an eye on the horizon to ensure that we best meet the requirements of our ESHT people.
We are looking for an experienced Nurse to participate support the service in its delivery of core OH activities such as absence management within our Case Management function, pre-employment health screening and provision of Occupational Health related advice and guidance.
Ideally applicants need to already hold an Occupational Health qualification, however consideration may be given if a candidate has transferable skills, as the service offers a mixture of local inhouse training and nationally accredited training. We provide a supportive environment for learning and encourage the specialist community public health nursing to be completed if not previously completed.
The ethos of the team is around support, compassion and respect by providing the highest quality of service. All staff are expected to demonstrate these values both to those who access the service and to their colleagues. In this way we have created a strong team, who feel safe to contribute their views and ideas on the service but also to challenge in a constructive way with a view to enhancing serviceimprovement. Everyone's voice is heard and respected.
We look forward to hearing from you.
