Learning & Development Assistant
Location - Winchester (minimum in-office time expectation is 40%)

What's the role and what will you be doing?
Learning & Development is a key aspect of building and enhancing careers at LCP. You will will work as part of the wider Learning and Development team, (currently 5 people) with a joint focus on both training administration and the professional qualifications areas within the department, providing supportacross two main areas:
Learning administration
Working with the wider team on the overall learning administration for the firm via the learning management system, booking workshops, liaising with suppliers as required and maintaining our appraisal system, Clear Review.
1. Manage and process new starters – liaising with HR and communicate with wider L&D team
2. Update and maintain LCP’s appraisals platform – liaising with department contacts.
3. Become proficient in the use of the learning management system (LMS) LCPLearn and IMC Express. Use the system for course administration and updating appraiser details for all users
4. Report on DEI / Induction training and following up with non completers
5. Provide logistical support for learning sessions – booking rooms and refreshments, and preparation of training resources
6. Schedule parental support sessions – liaising with external provider and LCP’ers
7. Ensure invoices are managed and evaluation process is completed following learning events
8. Create and update intranet and firm wide communication posts on learning offerings.
9. Liaise with both LCP’ers, trainers and suppliers as required
Qualification administration
10. General study administration to include checking of invoices, credit card payments, updating study records and subscription renewal.
11. Administration in relation to apprenticeships as required including bi annual reporting

12. Able to liaise professionally with both LCP’ers, and trainers, ensuring enquiries are dealt with courteously and efficiently
13. A professional, positive “can do” attitude and ability to take own initiative.
14. Technical aptitude with good excel skills and experience of process improvement/administration skills
15. An interest in how Learning & Development can add value to LCP
16. Able to work effectively in a team but also self-motivated to work autonomously
17. Well organised, able to follow processes and demonstrate attention to detail in work
18. Able to be proactive in identifying issues that require action and improvements to approach
19. Enthusiastic, flexible and resilient; able to cope under pressure and deal with fluctuating workload
20. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
