Junior IT Support Engineer

Join us as a Junior IT Support Engineer, providing onsite and remote support to over 3,000 users across Cambridge, Essex, Milton Keynes and London locations. You will play an important role in ensuring seamless IT operations while also supporting our wider digital transformation program.
In the first 6 to 12 months, you will be working on telephony project, assisting with administrative tasks, replacing equipment, installing new switches and patching out comms cabinets, working alongside senior engineers.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £30K, depending on experience.
Your key responsibilities will include providing onsite IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with setting up and configuring IT equipment. You will work across different sites, installing and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and networking hardware. You will also support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least two years of experience in an IT support or field-based role, with a strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and computer hardware. Experience with network switches and VoIP phones would be a great advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and good communication are essential. As this is a field-based role, a full UK driving licence is required, along with a willingness to travel between locations to provide onsite support.
