What You'll Be Doing:
* Training Support: Assisting with training initiatives to ensure full site compliance.
* Internal Audits: Conducting internal audits in line with the company audit program and operational performance standards.
* Audit Review & Feedback: Reviewing audits completed by the operational team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance overall compliance.
* Core & Clegg Program Management: Conducting core selections based on the company's coring program, reviewing data from the Clegg program, and analysing, reporting, and trending data from both programs.
* Incident Investigations: Conducting site-based investigations, such as utility strikes and other incidents.
* Sub-contractor Management: Conducting sub-contractor inductions (both on and off-site) and ensuring compliance with all requirements, including inductions and qualifications.
* Continuous Improvement: Proactively seeking innovative ways to improve working practices.
* Collaboration: Working effectively with internal support functions.
* Operational Support: Assisting operational teams with client and Local Authority requirements.
* Technical Support: Providing technical support to operational teams as needed, including JSI meetings and defect resolution.
Requirements
* Technical Expertise: Detailed knowledge of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways and the Safety at Street Works and Road Works (Red Book).
* Experience: Supervisory-level experience in telecommunications civil works.
* Health & Safety Focus: Experience in risk assessment and hazard identification, with a strong commitment to health and safety.
* Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Positive Attitude: A positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
* Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility: A flexible approach to work location.
* Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computers.
* Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence.
* Qualifications: NRSWA, SSSTS, CPCS (or equivalent) qualifications.
