Our client has an immediate requirement for a Health & Safety Coordinator / Manager on a Freelance basis for a 12-month contract duration.
Project location - Ashby-De-La-Zouch
1. Experience on automation systems and machinery safety requirements
2. Experience on coordinating HS topics under CDM regulations
3. NEBOSH qualifications
4. IOSH membership
5. PUWER assessments
Work tasks:
1. Working on site from 8am to 4pm, five days per week
2. Management of safety paperwork + our subcontractors Site registers, Temporary Work register, HS records, inductions, tool box talks, etc.
3. Review the companies & subcontractors RAMS, provide feedback and suggestions for corrections + submitting these to Principal Contractor
4. Acting as the direct contact between Principal contractor HS department and the companies site team / operatives.
5. Conduct safety walk rounds on a daily basis
6. Give corrective instructions to personnel who are not compliant with rules
7. Confirm Plant and Tools are in proper shape and tagged/inspected regularly (PUWER)
Nice to have:
1. AP qualification and knowledge to create lifting plans
2. Face fit trainee qualification
